EVALUATION....

TITLE:

The bright colours of the individual letters makes a bold statement about the unconventional themes and features the magazine has instore. Its also a representation of the music genre; a cool, retro, free spirited feel. This colour change throughout the title and the text in the puffs is a way i chose not to follow the general codes and conventions of a typical magazine from a similar/ same genre.

The exclamation mark implies the tittle is being shouted or is bold, again tying in with the genre of music.

problems i had with the title was the colour schemes, finding suitable colours that would show up on the bakground colours.

CENTRAL IMAGE:

The cental image of a black female aged 18 is a way I highlighted the demographics of the target audience. By placing someone who belongs to the demographic group makes it clear to consumers of the magazine who it is aimed. Also by using a female on the cover it appeals to men who are attracted to feamles on the target audience thus encouraging them to look at the magazine and hopefully purchase it.Iused the crop bitmass tool to crop the image from the original image. This seemed to be the most difficult aspect of using fireworks and working with images.
